In the Bible, we find many characters with characteristics of intercessors and faithfully exercising this role. In Exodus 34, we find Moses interceding 8-9 by the people of Israel, "Moses leaned incontinent to the ground and prostrated himself saying> 'If I have your favor, Lord, deign to march among us: we a people hard-headed, but forgive us our sins and our sins and accept us as your property. '" The people of Israel had committed the great sin of worshiping the golden calf, proclaiming their God. Knowing this, Moses, as chosen, called, chosen by God to lead his people, for the Lord says, "Lord, if I have your favor ...". This prayer of Moses has no more meaning for ourselves, but we ask in Jesus 'name of intercessors and prayer is, "Lord, in Jesus' name that has your favor, grant me ..."
Like Moses, now in our intercessors these groups need to be facing the feet of God to intercede for sinful people. Our groups, our communities are in urgent need of these sentries that are set up between God and his Church sinful.
The intercessor is one who not only does God prayer requests. No. He knows the heart of God. And because He loves you and knows he is loved by Him, in love, he goes to the heart of God, through the intercession becomes a humble dialogue of love.
The intercessor appropriates the words of Scripture that bring the promises of salvation and restoration. He knows the Lord through prayer and Scripture and therein lies the secret of intimacy between God and intercessor, this intimacy that makes all requests of intercessors reach the heart of God, for they are made through Christ Jesus to the glory God the Father
